"Cha" is Rachel's name for "challah." Our conversation tonight went something like this:
Me: Sweetie, do you want some challah?
Rachel: Chaaaa.....
Me: Can you say challah? Challah?
Rachel: Cha!
Later, when fed her some apple slices, I said, "Rachel, this is an APPLE. Can you say APPLE?"
Rachel (softly): Ap-pel.
Me: Did you say apple?
Rachel: App-fttt.
Me: AP-PLE.
Rachel: App-ffttt.
We're getting there, folks!
